Schnauzer Construction dba Mechanical Incorporated acted as project manager on the general contractor for this renovation project. Our company furnished all supervision, labor, and materials for an approximate 65,000 square foot renovation of an existing interior space. Schnauzer Construction was responsible for coordinating contractor design components of the project designed by the architect and engineer. Our duties included review of other subcontractors and preparation for the particular activity under consideration. PCC is a two year college with several major campuses. The funding for this project was through bond measures. When we started this project we were hired to renovate buildings 1 and 2. As the project progressed, the bonding allowed for extra buildings to be retrofitted. We were hired for this additional work. The scope of work included selected demolition, masonry, miscellaneous metals, architectural woodwork, doors and frames, glazing, gypsum board walls, ceiling, tile, paint, flooring, fire protection, and mechanical systems including new mechanical equipment, electrical and telecommunication.
