Annual work load will vary. Contract will be for approximately 109 work/bid items on contract. Service is awarded on an as-need basis for the County.

This project consisted of repairing the heating water piping in the Base Building of the Portland Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT), Portland International Airport, Portland, Oregon. The water loop system was drained, repaired and returned to original condition without affecting the day-to-day operations of the client. Schnauzer Construction dba Mechanical Inc. was the general contractor on this project.

Schnauzer Construction dba Mechanical Incorporated was the prime contractor for this Plan and Specification Project. The project included the installation of a new heating and cooling system and other improvements for approximately 15 offices and adjacent corridors in an older two story building. It also included a new acoustical ceiling, lighting, fire protection, and electrical work. We oversaw the abatement, demolition, site work, landscaping, concrete, metal pipe bollards, framing, sheeting, trim, drywall, acoustical ceiling, painting, HVAC, electrical (power & PA), and the fire sprinkler work.
The scope of the HVAC work included furnishing and installing a new heat pump system consisting of two condensing units, an outside air/exhaust heat exchanger system, and 20 fan coil units. DDC controls were installed to monitor and manage the building environment. A BacNet interface was also provided so that the building connected to the campus wide energy management system.
